Synopsis

IT HAS ALL LED TO THIS!

As John Stewart and his allies fight to beat back an invasion by Olgrun and the Old Gods, John Henry and Natasha Irons and the sentient construct known as Ellie Stewart fight to save Shirley Stewart from the vengeance of Star Shroud...and the survival of METROPOLIS hangs in the balance!

Can John Stewart make it back to Earth in time to save his mother and his city? And can the entire Stewart family and their allies survive such an onslaught?

Characters die, and the status quo is changed forever in this FINAL CLIMACTIC ISSUE!

Plot

Dark Star of the Fenn: John Stewart, Guy Gardner, Caolan Sheperd and the Scientists trapped on the Dark Star fight back against the Revenant Queen and her army of Radiant Dead. John realizes with the Dark Star ring he took from The Revenant Queen he doesn't need to destory the Radiant Dead, he can control them. He banishes the Queen back into the prison on the Dark Star, saving the universe.

Steelworks: Shirely and Ellie are fighting Varron, and Shirley has become infected by the Dark Star Energy and it looks like they are doomed, but that is when John arrives home. He destroys Varron again and heals his mom's infection but the damage is done. Shirley dies peacefully knowing that John loves her, and that Ellie will be safe, even though she is just a construct.

Botswana, Chobe River: Weeks later John and Ellie fix the dam. Ellie is now premiant and John's ring contains the soul of his mother, so she will always be around to watch over her children.
